Executive & Board Advisory
I serve as an independent advisor to founders, CEOs, boards, investors, and leadership teams during periods of growth, transformation, and organizational change. Drawing on executive operating experience, I help leadership diagnose organizational challenges, provide objective perspective, and guide the decisions that strengthen leadership, improve execution, and position organizations for long-term success.

Executive and Board Advisory provides independent strategic guidance to founders, CEOs, boards, investors, and leadership teams navigating consequential organizational and leadership decisions.
Unlike a Fractional Chief People Officer, an advisor does not operate as a member of the leadership team. The advisor brings an objective outside perspective, informed by executive operating experience, to help leadership understand what is happening inside the organization, identify root causes, evaluate options, and determine the best path forward.
-
Independent advisory is especially valuable during rapid growth, executive or board-level leadership transitions, organizational redesign, declining execution, executive-team conflict, succession planning, restructuring, or major workforce transformation.
It can also help when leadership knows something is not working but the underlying cause is unclear. An independent advisor can distinguish visible symptoms from deeper issues involving leadership, organizational design, talent, incentives, culture, accountability, or decision-making.

An organizational advisor brings independent judgment, executive operating experience, and a structured way to evaluate leadership, organizational design, talent, incentives, culture, and execution together.
I help CEOs, boards, investors, and leadership teams identify root causes, challenge assumptions, interpret organizational information, evaluate options, and translate those observations into practical recommendations.
This may include assessing organizational health, strengthening leadership-team effectiveness, preparing for a leadership transition, evaluating organizational risk, advising on executive hiring or succession, or redesigning the organization for its next stage of growth. The objective is to solve the right problem before it becomes a larger business challenge.
Organizations rarely struggle because of a single issue.
Performance declines when leadership, strategy, organizational design, culture, incentives, and execution gradually fall out of alignment. The visible symptomsโslowing growth, declining engagement, leadership turnover, stalled transformation, or inconsistent executionโare often just that: symptoms.
My role is to help leadership, boards, and investors distinguish symptoms from root causes. Sometimes the problem is leadership. Sometimes it's organizational design. Sometimes it's culture, capability, incentives, or decision-making. The work begins by understanding what's really happening beneath the surface before deciding what needs to change.
The most effective organizations don't react to symptoms. They diagnose the organization, make deliberate decisions, and create the conditions for sustainable performance.
